XII - The Hanged Man

Right side up: It indicates a sacrifice either at the level of personality or of concrete situations, which is almost always requested from outside. Throughout the limit that is imposed, there is the possibility of growing and of evolving, on the condition that you are able to recognize this possibility. Otherwise you will only experience the aspect of being limited and blocked represented by the card. In relationships, it indicates the necessity of giving up some aspects of one's own personality (for instance, pride), to go towards others.

Upside down: It is weakened compared to the right side up card : it indicates a less strong limit, but also a less strong possibility of evolution.
