BUSINESS & FINANCIAL ASTROLOGY
Example of a professional horoscope
This is the horoscope of a teacher of English, who worked
for many years in private language schools, and then decided to move
to a different country and give private lessons of English.
Sun in Aries, Moon in Leo, Ascendant in Virgo. Andrew
has two and a half elements in fire signs, two and a half elements in
air signs, three and a half elements in water signs and six and a half
elements in earth signs. For these reasons, hes a very practical
person (six and a half elements in earth signs), not particularly inclined
to take initiatives (shortage of fire and air elements), sensitive and
sensible at the same time.
Even if he is not particularly enterprising, his great
trine Sun in Aries Moon in Leo Mars in Capricorn enables
him to act with decision when it is necessary. The T-cross formed by
Jupiter in Gemini, Mercury in Pisces and Mars in Capricorn makes him
sometimes doubt about the path to follow in his life, but these doubts
affect more his internal than his external life. As his northern node
is in Capricorn, fifth house, and his southern node is in Cancer, eleventh
house, the main task of his life is to realize his creativity in the
sphere of work, possibly in a job which is socially useful (teacher,
or other employment which implies being in contact with people and/or
a form of service for others). He has a strong motivation for being
successful in his work, due to the presence of Mars, Point of Fortune,
northern lunar node and Chiro in Capricorn, fifth house. He may be not
completely conscious of his abilities, but his self-esteem will grow
with time.
His Ascendant in Virgo means that he has organizational
abilities and that he is talented for a job which requires patience
and care for details. He could achieve good results in the use of computers.
Mercury in Pisces, eighth house, signals that there are intuitive abilities,
which may reveal themselves both in relationships and in solving problems.
As Jupiter is in Gemini, tenth house, he is curious and needs variety.
He couldnt stand a repetitive and monotonous job. As he is so
curious and likes being always well informed about what happens around
him, he would easily know the latest information and news, and he would
be happy to share his knowledge with others, without caring if someone
else uses his discoveries to realize something of his own. He has a
good character, and is a very optimistic person.
Even if he is quite reserved, he is kind and available
when asked for help. Hes not jealous or envious, and doesnt
mind collaborating with others, on the contrary, he would feel at ease
with inspiring something which would be carried out by someone else.
He probably wont become friends with many people, but as a workmate
he can be very agreeable, accessible and calm. Whatever his private
life is, he will be able to keep it separate from work, as he has a
high sense of duty and is capable of taking on his responsibilities.
He may get very interested in the job he does, if it is suitable to
him, and he will do it scrupulously; hes interested in being appreciated
and in getting the position he deserves, but he is not a competitive
person. He prefers going on step by step, without having a rapid career
or being incorrect to get what he wants.
In the relationship with his bosses he is kind, honest
and fair, but if he doesnt agree with them, he will kindly but
openly say it. In spite of this, hes not a rebel, so he is able
to carry out what he considers part of his duties even if he disapproves
of it. He regards money as an important aspect of life, but he is not
too attached to it. His success in the work field will occur most of
all between fifty and fifty-two years. In conclusion, Andrew is an optimistic
person and is provided with practical and organizational abilities.
He is reserved but has a good character and he is available
for other people and for what is asked of him. Hes gifted for
a job which requires patience, care for details and/or contact with
others. Hes clever, intuitive, curious. He could sometimes have
brilliant ideas. Hes not inconstant and he is capable of taking
on responsibilities, but sooner or later hell try to change his
job, as he doesnt like routine. If he is given the possibility
of having a different role in the same enterprise he used to work for,
he will probably be grateful to his bosses, otherwise, after a certain
amount of time, he will look for another job.
