Example of a company horoscope
Introduction
This company was founded by two people (a man and a woman)
so they could have a shop selling objects of art together. The Moon
on the Midheaven, forming a grand trine in water with the Black Moons
in Pisces in the second house and with Jupiter in Cancer in the sixth
house, indicates that this is an enterprise in which the feminine element
plays a fundamental role, in the sense that both those who run it and
those who will bring it success will be predominantly women.
Evolutionary tendencies of the company
The Moon is very well aspected. There could be some problems,
nonetheless, given that it is in Scorpio, square retrograde Neptune
in the first house (Aquarius), and quincunx Saturn in the fifth house
(Gemini). Before analyzing these aspects, a discussion of the first
and fifth house of this horoscope may help define the issues more clearly.
The Ascendant is in Capricorn - the sign also found on
the South Node and on Mars conjunct the South Node in the twelfth house.
This means that the people who established this association are highly
motivated towards economic success, and to the success in general of
their enterprise. The Ascendant, however, is found in the same sign
as the South Node and the South Node is conjunct Mars in the twelfth
house and opposed to Jupiter in the sixth house (Cancer). Since the
South Node represents the totality of attitudes that need to be overcome,
this reveals that what needs to be overcome in this case is an ambivalence
between the desire to expand further into the outer world and the desire
to create a warm atmosphere, with a select and limited clientele. These
two tendencies could reflect differing positions of the two partners
or could refer to a continual wavering on both their parts with respect
to the two possibilities. These conflicting tendencies can create an
obstacle if they are not integrated correctly, since progress is thus
made in neither of the two directions. Actually, since the North Node
is in Cancer in the sixth house, conjunct Jupiter, the evolution of
this activity leans towards the second solution.
Furthermore, Saturn in the fifth house (Gemini), forming
a T-square with Pluto in the eleventh house (Sagittarius) and with the
Black Moon corrected in the second house (Pisces), suggests possible
difficulty in putting these dreams into practice, in part due to power
conflicts between the two original partners or with future collaborators
who may be involved later. These conflicts, which may be more or less
obvious, could also cause damage on the economic level.
In fact - and here we can turn to the analysis of the
Moon on the Midheaven - the entire horoscope reflects a male-female
dialectic, not only between people of different sexes but even within
each individual person. This must surely be resolved more in favor of
the feminine aspect, though without neglecting the masculine. The concept
of creating a shop with a select and restricted clientele is closer

first house. However, the fact that these two planets are retrograde
indicates that such action would remain as a temptation but not actually
be taken. This is also confirmed by Mercury in the ninth house (Libra)
trine Uranus, which testifies to the founding partners' desire to create
harmony and equilibrium between themselves as well as with any future
collaborators. This Mercury also guarantees that the search for beauty
will always be at the heart of the enterprise under discussion, despite

considerations.
I have already explained some of the problems indicated
by the position of the Moon in this chart. Its presence in Scorpio hints
at another problem. It is possible that, in addition to the two original
partners, there may be a series of female figures involved in the shop
- for example, shop assistants - about whom one or both of the partners
harbor doubts as to her/their capacity or presence.
The tendency towards problems with future collaborators
will be a continuing characteristic of this company, whose founders
should consider the idea of taking care of their interests more directly
and working in the shop themselves.
Success of the enterprise
Because of the problems mentioned above, there could
be some periods when money is wasted and/or hoped-for earnings are not
realized. On the other hand, the grand trine of Jupiter in the sixth
house/Black Moons in the second house/Moon on the Midheaven, reinforced
by the presence of the Point of Fortune on the cusp of the second house,
indicates that financial success is indeed possible. In fact, it will
surely come about if both partners are capable of acting on the suggestions
outlined above and of putting up with the problems. This shop can actually
become quite well known and attract interesting and pleasant people,
thus ensuring the partners with more than just economic gratification.
Forecast for the year
The months from autumn 2002 to summer 2003 could be somewhat
difficult with respect to decisions concerning what direction to take.
One or more of the female collaborators may prove to be not up to the
task. However, if the crises are given no more than their due importance
and you proceed ahead, everything will work itself out - as will always
happen in this company which, all in all, was born under a lucky star.
