This book, which was entirely suggested by the Spiritual Guides of the author and of the people who contributed to the writing of the book itself with their personal experiences, introduces the subject of how to contact one's own Spirit Guide, or Guardian Angel, who has been accompanying us since we were born, but who can only help us to go beyond our karma when we consciously decide to get in contact.

Moreover, the author makes use of her twenty-year experience as an astrologist to give some indications about the spiritual path each of us is called upon to achieve on Earth.

When I received from Paola Pierpaoli the gift to be able to read the first draft of her book, even before it was given to an editor, I believed that I already knew the subject that it would be about, as on many occasions I had heard her while she shared her experiences of channeler with me and with other people. But a careful reading allowed me to understand how huge and profound the argument was and that it certainly wasn't enough to hear some accounts to be able to know it.

I have read this book twice: the first time to mentally assimilate the content, and the second time to go to the heart of the book. And it was only then that I perceived that golden thread which harmoniously winds through all the pages of the book explaining, and, as Franco Santoro says, honouring the integrity of Paola's vision.

During this second reading I was able to perceive how this thread of energy, like all the flows of pure energy, goes to fill and illuminate exactly where it is necessary, that is in the shadow zone of each reader; and it is certainly for this that one hundred readers could comment about this book in one hundred different ways.

As far as I am concerned, the first illuminated zone has something to do with distant memories linked to my childhood and to my birthplace. I was born in Sardinia, and although I have been living for many years on the continent, as Sardinians say, images, sounds and colours of my birthplace still reverberate in me. Particularly I see in my imagination groups of people gathering around a fire and that dance, which is the continuation of an ancient ceremony, known nowadays as ‘su ballu tundu', that is ‘the round dance', in a circle, exactly. I can see the arms and the hands of the participants shaking and supporting each other, as well as the feet moving together : I draw from these images a sensation of strength and agreement, and a vision of an already existing future, in which everybody, sharing the energy of the participants of one's own circle, becomes a grid of energy for the whole planet, as it is described in Sandro's vision.

Another area which has widely been illuminated by Paola's book is that of the problems of the Ego, which certainly affect me too, but that I indirectly experience through some of my patients. Particularly I found it very encouraging that the contact with the Spirit Guide can help many people to find the meaning of their presence on the earth and consequently the aim of their incarnation.

Concerning the problems of the Ego, I think of the suggestive image of the opening ceremony of the World Football Championship in 2002. For a few minutes hundreds of people moved on the football field in groups or rows, forming wonderful shapes, which gracefully and fluidly changed, as if they were guided by one mind. Watching that beautiful show was for me a sort of illumination, as it gave me the perception of what the earth is certainly going to become, when everybody becomes conscious of the fact that all of us are absolutely necessary for the realization of the Divine Plan.

To know that there are people, like the author of this book, who tirelessly work so that everybody finds out and puts their talents into practice for the common wealth, is a reason for joy and optimism for the future.
